If you are a person who cannot understand <> , ; , / \ , </> , { } , () , and the difference between == and ===, then honestly this blog will hurt you for sure. Because these are the basic fundamentals and syntaxes of coding, if you are not familiar with these, then honestly Vibe Coding isn’t for you. You will do more damage to the app or website you are trying to build (I know, which you cannot build) and it will never get succeeded.
People think that they can vibe code anything if they just know English and how to give instructions to the AI agents, but here’s the real truth: YOU CANNOT BUILD AN APP/WEBSITE WITHOUT KNOWING THE BASIC FUNDAMENTALS OF CODING.
I know, all the Vibe Coding tools like Augment Code, GitHub Copilot, Kilo Code, Cursor, and most importantly Claude Code market themselves in such a way that you can code without knowing anything about coding, but that is way too far from the truth. They want customers who pay them monthly subscriptions, and the easy target for them is… people who don’t know coding.
They can be easily manipulated into thinking that they can build websites and apps without knowing anything.
Honestly, this is not the place where we are heading towards, you cannot build an app/website without knowing the ABC of coding.
All AI tools and agents make mistakes. Here’s a quick proof.
Open any AI tool, for example: Let’s take ChatGPT, type in any prompt, and check the bottom text which is written in a very small font size.

And here’s a screenshot from Gemini.

And here’s a screenshot from most of your favourite AI tool, Claude:

So, answer my quick questions here before you start Vibe Coding.
If the AI tool provider is not sure whether the output they give is true, then how can you believe that you can build production-ready apps/websites with Vibe Coding?
Do you really think that you’ll not face any security issues later on?
And, most importantly, do you really think that your codebase isn’t being shared with the AI companies?
I am not 100% saying that Vibe Coding is bad, but I am seeing a lot of young people who don’t know a thing about coding and building apps/websites and shipping them to the world saying that they built the app and they are ready for investors.
Yes, Vibe Coding does work for personal projects, testing, learning, or sometimes doing quick revisions on the app, but it cannot build production-ready apps/websites.
I repeat, IT CANNOT BUILD PRODUCTION-READY APPS AND WEBSITES YET!
Let’s say you are building a CRM for a Real Estate company, and you prompt the AI agents like, “Build me a CRM for a real estate company”. If you think this prompt is enough, then you are the biggest loser in the AI space.
Yes, AI builds you a good-looking, functional CRM for you, but it is just 1% ready to push into production.
And if you are wondering if I Vibe Code, then the answer will be ABSOLUTELY YES!
I know more than the basics of coding, and honestly that’s where my journey started back in 2013ish. You can read more information about my journey if you think I am a newbie in coding.
Anyway, this is all I have with regards to Vibe Coding.
And I totally forgot one thing, if you do not know what Vibe Coding is, here are the quick steps to get to know what it is.
- Open your phone/laptop/desktop.
- Open any browser of your choice, whether it’s Chrome or Firefox or Microsoft Edge (I will definitely laugh if you are using Microsoft Edge).
- Open this link: https://www.google.com
- In the text input field, type this: “What is Vibe Coding?”
- And then you can read and understand what it is.
So before we wrap up, this is completely my personal opinion, and I am not influenced by anyone or any company.
Anyway, until next time, Stay Strong and Keep Learning.
